Today it’s from TUI saying 87% of their sample intend to travel overseas this year, with a staggering 94% of those taking a package holiday. I can’t see it happening myself, but it will be great for the industry if it does. But the numbers just don’t add up to me, and unless companies are prepared to publish more information about sample sizes and demographics, such surveys are virtually meaningless.
The Telegraph, however, took the PR and ran with it.
